Welcome to ByAlpha Couture — I’m Janet, the founder, designer, and hands behind every handcrafted hat, fascinator, and headpiece you see here.

My creative journey began in London, where I fell in love with design through Soft Furnishings. Working with fine materials and sculpting décor pieces taught me the value of precision, beauty, and craftsmanship.

In 2003, I relocated to the United States. While living in Maine, I recognized a need for elegant, high-quality headwear — pieces that made a statement. In 2014, curiosity turned into passion, and ByAlpha Couture was born. What started as an exploration of fabrics and form became a calling to design headpieces that elevate confidence and celebrate femininity.

From pleated crinoline lay rs to hand-curved feathers, Swarovski crystal finishes, and bespoke African-inspired touches, each design is a statement of individuality and elegance.
